| In 1978 Bill Powell, with the support of his wife Carrie and family, began making high-tech polycarbonate skylights out of a small warehouse in Orlando, Florida. Hard work paid off. Sun-Tek Skylights quickly grew into a fierce competitor within the skylight industry with sales growing by leaps and bounds every year. Bill laid a strong foundation for the company’s future, broadening the range of skylight products to widen customer appeal, believing that if someone wanted a skylight, no matter how unusual their situation, Sun-Tek would find a way to supply a superior product at a competitive price that would make them happy.
With Bill’s untimely passing, Sun-Tek’s new ownership has carried his vision forward, becoming a leader within the industry with innovative products that continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers to let the sunshine in! |
